They are my family and so very important to me, it is therefore my mission to love each and every dog that comes to stay, as much as I love my own. I know what I want for my dogs and that is the standard I set for all the wonderful dogs who spend time with us. Many people find that leaving your dog with someone, is on par with leaving your children and I strive to provide peace of mind to all my clients that their precious four legged pups are in the safest of hands. If a dog runs to my front door to come in and then is reluctant to leave my job is done!
Oh and just in case you wondered why MA's? The M & A simply stand for Mille and Archie, my two amazing Shih Tzu's who are ultimately in charge and so very good at sharing their Mum with all the dogs that come to stay.

I have 50 plus years of dog ownership that spans across many breeds. Along with all the joy and happiness my dogs have bought me I have had to deal with some challenging behaviours and work with each dog to help them overcome their issues. From lead reactivity, fear-based aggression, resource guarding to plain old stubbornness. I have dealt with it all. Having been a qualified groomer I have also been exposed to many other challenging behaviours from the hundreds of dogs I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. Positive reinforcement is key to building the healthy relationships I want and have with dogs. Consistency, combined with routine (a minimum of two walks a day and set feeding and nap times), providing safe spaces, soft tone, allowing the dogs to come to me in their own time and understanding their body language are just a few of the things I do to ensure my dogs and the dogs I care fore have a happy and healthy life.
Sadly I am not able to provide day care and boarding for all the dogs whose owners wish to book with me. I therefore have recently decided to take on board a 'Host'.
I needed someone who without fail would provide the same high standard of care and share the same philosophy and love for all dogs as me...........

I was lucky enough to already know that person, Bex!
A wonderful friend I met at college whilst studying Dog Behaviour. She has since had the first born of my pups litter, Twix who joins us (with Bex) most days for group walks. Bex is the only person I would leave my dogs with so I know without fail, she is the perfect Host for MA's clients. Over to you Bex...
'We met whilst completing our dog walking diploma & dog behaviour course (I also completed canine first aid) at Common Let's.
Prior to that I walked dogs as a teenager for a bit of pocket money.
Roll on a few years and as an adult I have owned 5 dogs. I also signed up to Borrow My Doggy and walked a beautiful Portuguese Water dog for free, after I sadly lost my own dog but couldn't face (at the time) getting another, but had a huge dog hole in my heart
Fast forward again, and I set up on my own, and now have a few clients who I walk regularly (not the clients, but their dogs).
I now have a beautiful boy of my own (thanks to our fate meeting and your two) and love nothing better than walking for hours, come rain or shine (but this mud can do one) throughout Drayton and the surrounding villages.
I just love dogs, I love their interactions with each other and with humans. Watching them run or jump is just amazing (and capturing it on camera is just great, especially mid air).'
